Back-to-School Bash 2023

It’s time to celebrate the new school year, and what better way to do it than with a party?

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be hosting our 7th Annual Back-to-School Bash on Thursday, August 17th from 4:00-6:00pm at our St. Cloud Branch!

We’ll celebrate with a bouncy house, summer craft, door prizes, ice cream treat, various big rigs like a fire truck, and so much more. Plus, Marvin the Moose, our CMLO (Chief Marvin League Officer) will make an appearance! Your favorite moose is ready to dance, give high-fives, and pass out Moosla Bucks to his favorite people, your kids! And maybe if you’re lucky, he’ll give some grown-ups high-fives too.

This event is FREE and open to the public. There’s no need to RSVP. In fact, we invite you to load up a van full of your favorite humans and share this event with everyone! By everyone, we mean; all ages of current Great River members, non-members, obnoxious friends, noisy neighbors, and even that distant acquaintance you speak with on rare occasions. All are welcome to attend our 7th Annual Back to School Bash!

As part of this event, we will be collecting school supplies and monetary donations for our local schools. You do not need to bring a donation to attend but we encourage it if you are able. Types of supplies that always go over well are pencils, notebooks, glue sticks, tissues—but anything on a school supply list will be appreciated.
