Introducing Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs)
Innovation remains a top priority at Great River Federal Credit Union. Our team members are purposeful about watching trends and learning about technology advancements. We also make sure we are listening to you, our members and moving into a more customizable banking experience. These are just a few reasons why we are excited to announce a phased approach to launch Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) into our branch locations and beyond!
What is an ITM you may ask? An ITM is a self-service ATM with video capabilities and technology that allows our members to perform nearly every transaction at the ITM they would do within any branch location. You could also call it, “an ATM on steroids”.
As you can imagine, integrating an advanced system like this takes time. Every detail matters, and we want to make sure the implementation is as smooth as we can make it. That is why we have introduced a phased approach.
PHASE 1: CURRENT PHASE
Install with ATM capabilities
Install within the Sauk Rapids & Foley branches as fully functioning ATMs.
- Cash deposit/withdrawals
- Check deposits
PHASE 2: MID/LATE SUMMER 2021
Add Machines & “Active Teller” Capabilities
Install additional ITMs in the Big Lake, St Cloud, Waite Park, Sartell, and Sauk Centre branches.
- ATM features as listed in Phase 1.
- Active Teller- video assisted support by GRFCU team during regular business hours for complex transactions, loan payments, and general inquiries.
PHASE 3: LATE FALL 2021
- ATM features as listed in Phase 1 & 2.
- Self-Service inquiries and transactions on all accounts, including loan payments.
PHASE 4: TBD in 2022
