Nomination 1:

I would like to nominate Chelsea Jacobson

She fulfills these core values by:

Unity: Caring about her team and wanting the best for them. She wants to educate us on all products and services and be able to have flowing conversations with every person.

Innovation: She provides solutions to 99.9% of problems. If Chelsea doesn’t know the answer off the top of her head, she will work with you and the member to find a solution. She advocates for you and wants to see you succeed.

Community: She supports everyone on her team and provides you with the resources and time to expand your knowledge. She takes the time to teach you until you fully understand what you want to work on.

Authenticity: She is honest with you. She will tell you how it is but also teach you in the process. Chelsea is always there when you need her. A good way to describe her is that she is dependable.

Relationships: She treats everyone with respect and forms a special bond with everyone. She is a friend but also a boss. She knows when and how to be your friend and when to be your boss. Those lines never cross.

Empowerment: Chelsea takes ownership of her mistakes and turns them into learning opportunities for her team or others involved.

Chelsea is a great boss, and she strives for her team to be well rounded. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for her. She is an outstanding mentor and exceptional manager.

New Accounts Member Advisor

Nomination 2:

I nominate Chelsea Jacobson for the U&I CARE award.

Chelsea very efficiently reached out to a member from Sauk Centre that had requested financial counseling to help her repair past credit and financial mishaps. Chelsea was willing to make the long journey to Sauk Centre to meet with the member and assist her in setting financial goals and to begin setting up a plan to get her to that goal. Chelsea respectfully continues to empower the member to reach her financial goals without feeling humiliated!

Chelsea is always available to help when needed. It doesn’t matter if it is one of her fellow branch managers, her Sauk Rapids team, my Sauk Centre team, or a member, she will help you find the answer to your question or solution to your problem. She shares resources that she finds useful with all the branches and helps us to make sense of it all. Her Authenticity shines bright with her honesty and her unique self!
