Ripple Effect Employee Award
The Ripple Effect is given to the employee who is truly passionate about giving back and encompasses “No one can help everyone, but everyone can help someone”. For every hour that the employee volunteers, they are entered into the drawing for this award.

2023 Q1 winner is…
Courtney – Accountant II – St. Cloud
Courtney enjoys participating in a variety of community focused activities. She particularly enjoys volunteer opportunities that she can share with her children, such as assisting with field trips, archery tournaments, taking baseball statistics, and helping at volleyball practices. Additionally, she and her kids volunteer to make meals for Quiet Oaks Hospice House, participating in Adopt-A-Highway Cleanups on behalf of Great River, and packing food for Feeding Area Children Together (FACT).

What do you enjoy most about being a volunteer?
I enjoy volunteering because I am making a difference in other people’s lives. It also gets me out in the community, and I hope to make it a little better for those who live there.
Why is volunteering important to you?Volunteering is important to me because it makes the communities I am a part of better. Volunteers give or communities the opportunity to help more individuals.
Besides volunteering, what do you enjoy doing in your free time?
When I am not at work or volunteering, I enjoy kayaking, home improvement projects, a good book, trying new recipes, camping, and time with my kids.
